How it Works
Read about the stages:
1. Submit Seed Keyword Ideas 🌟
This section is for submitting a Seed Keyword Idea and voting for them if you want that topical map.
Adding Seed Keywords:
The seed is the central topic that you want to target for your topical map.
The seed keyword should not be too broad nor too narrow. Here are some examples:
- “SEO” is too broad. “Topical map” is too narrow. A good seed would be “keyword research.”
- "Gardening" is too broad. "Organic pest control" is too narrow. "Organic gardening" would be good.
- "Work from Home" is too broad. "Zoom Meetings" too narrow. "Remote Work Tools" is good.
Type of Site Tags:
Choose one of the types for your seed keyword. Different sites have different needs and site goals help to drive the topical map.
- Affiliate / Informational
- eCommerce
- Lead Gen
Be aware that the topical maps will not cover any product or service pages. The topics that are in the topical map are those that would normally go into a Blog/Resources section.
Voting for Seeds:
Upvoting a seed keyword means:
- You want the topical map for that seed
- You are ready to pay for your share of the topical map to get started
2. Planned 👀
When there are 5 people who have upvoted a seed keyword, it will be put into
Planned
status. The topical map team will do one final review of the seed idea, including pre-research, to ensure it's ready for topical map creation.
If there are any issues with the seed, eg., too broad/narrow, then this will be discussed with those who voted and on the wait-list. .
Once it's determined the seed keyword is good to go for a topical map, it is queued for production. The seeds will have a number assigned to it to signify its position in the queue.
At this stage,
the seed keyword will also be hidden from the public to ensure privacy
to only the ones who are purchasing and on the wait-list. 3. Collecting Payments 💰
When the topical map for a seed is able to be started, payments from each person will be collected.
We'll set a time limit for payments -
48 hours.
If not everyone pays within the time limit, we'll move on to people on the wait-list.
So, don't be afraid to still vote for a topical map seed if there are 5 people on it. You'll be put on the wait-list and be notified if there are any non-payments.
4. In Progress 🖌️
Once the payments have been collected, our team dives into research and the topical map creation process. We’ll keep you in the loop as your topical map is being created
5. Completed 🚀
Your topical map is complete and delivered to you!
